
Thomas William Selleck is an American actor. His most notable role was Thomas Magnum, a private investigator in Magnum, P.I. The actor was nominated five times for Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Lead Actor In the Drama Series (1980-1988) as well as was awarded the Emmy Award in 1985. Since the year 2010, Selleck has been co-starring as New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan in the series Blue Bloods. In nine television movies inspired by the Robert B. Parker novels in which he portrayed Jesse Stone, a troubled small-town police chiefwho began his career in 2005. Selleck also played the role as Peter Mitchell, a bachelor architect in Three Men and a Baby (1987), and Three Men and a Little Lady(1990). Alongside his role in Magnum, P.I., Selleck has been featured in more than 50 other films and TV shows. Lassiter and baseball.
