Mena Alexandra Suvari (born February 13 1979) is an American fashion designer, actress and model. Her performances as a character in American Beauty, for which she earned a BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie led to her being the subject of more attention. In 2000, she appeared alongside her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. Her next role was her role as the main character as the lead character in Sugar & Spice (2002). In 2002, she starred in Spun the independent drama and 2004's thriller Trauma. She also appeared in the television drama Six Feet Under in 2004 she received a nomination as an Best Cast of the 2005 Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, she was cast in a series of movies including Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the movie adaptation of The Garden of Eden.
