Mena Alexandra (born on the 13th of February 1979) is an actress and model hailing from the United States of America. She started her modeling career in 1990. Soon after, she moved to acting following guest appearances on TV series like Boy Meets World or High Incident. Her first film appearance was on 1997's drama Nowhere. With American Beauty and American Pie her name was recognized for her roles. In 2000, she was with her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. Then, she played her role as the main character on the film Sugar & Spice (2002). In 2002, she was a part in Spun the drama by an independent company and in 2004's thriller, Trauma. She also appeared in the HBO the drama Six Feet Under. The show aired in 2004. In 2008, Suvari was cast in a string of films that included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the adaptation film to The Garden of Eden. Suvari is the model for Lancome cosmetics and print ads for Lancome Paris Adaptive and has been featured in several magazine and fashion blogs, including Vogue. She has long been a supporter and activist for the esteemed African relief organization the African Medical and Research Foundation.
