Sheryl Underwood was born in the state of Arkansas and raised there. She was a television host of the talk show on daytime The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and grew up within Little Rock, Atwater, as well as Atwater. Sheryl has the midst of a difficult background. Sheryl spent the majority of her youth taking care of her sister Frankie and her polio-infected sister. When she was growing up, Sheryl experienced many issues with her mom. Sheryl said she was once told that her mother had stabbed one of the parents to her son because she was getting close to her. Sheryl enlisted in the military after her college graduation. Sheryl's interest lay with comedy. She was the only female who made it to the 1989 contest Miller Lite Comedy Search. She began her TV job in the year 1992, appearing as a frequently performing comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as host of the T.V. show Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started participating in The Talk as co-host. She has also been in fictional roles on shows like Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
