Sheryl Underwood is an American television personality and comedian, is best known as the presenter of The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl was born and lived in Little Rock. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. She grew up looking after her sibling Frankie. Frankie was a victim of polio. When she was a kid, her relationships with her mother were rocky. Sheryl alleges that, in an instance, her mother knifed her father after he got too close to her. Sheryl joined the military after her college graduation. Her passion was comedy. She became the very first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She began her TV work in 1992 by being a regular actor on HBO's comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She appeared on Oh Drama! as the host in 2000. Then in 2011, she started appearing on The Talk as co-host. Additionally, she's played fictional roles in series like Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
