Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. She is half English as well as Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father was an Argentine with Scottish and English descendance. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish as well as English. Taylor-Joy is one of the five children, four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. After being within Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatic and that she didn't learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. She had to switch schools to Northlands and then Hill House. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. After she turned 16, she dropped out of school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an acting star began at a young, age. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model who hired her to be a professional model.
